Zhenjiang ETDZ Public Security Bureau and Galle Electric Jointly Discuss Support Measures for Private Enterprise Development
March 6, 2025 — Zhou Yong, Deputy Director of Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone (ETDZ) Administrative Committee and Director of Zhenjiang Public Security Bureau ETDZ Branch, led a delegation to visit Galle Smart Power Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Galle Electric"). During the meeting, Zhou Yong engaged in in-depth discussions with Ma Jianxiong, Chairman of Galle Electric, and other senior executives on safeguarding the development of private enterprises. The dialogue focused on current policy priorities for private enterprises, aiming to enhance comprehensive public security support, optimize the business environment, and promote high-quality enterprise development.
With technological innovation driving private enterprise growth, intellectual property (IP) protection has become increasingly critical. Chairman Ma Jianxiong emphasized that proprietary intellectual property and commercial data form the cornerstone of Galle Electric's competitiveness. Over the years, the company has invested heavily in R&D, developing a portfolio of core technologies and products with independent IP rights. However, intensifying market competition has led to frequent IP and trade secret infringements, which not only harm corporate profits but also stifle innovation. Ma proposed strengthening collaboration with public security authorities to establish regular communication channels, conduct IP protection training, and raise employee awareness of IP safeguarding.
In response, Director Zhou Yong affirmed the public security department's commitment to combating IP crimes through enhanced information sharing, coordinated enforcement, and rapid response mechanisms. These measures align with national policies encouraging innovation and reinforcing IP protection, thereby providing robust legal backing for Galle Electric's technological advancements.
In the digital era, information security is vital to corporate survival. The Public Security Bureau outlined plans to assist Galle Electric in upgrading its cybersecurity infrastructure, including employee training programs to mitigate risks of cyberattacks and data breaches. Chairman Ma pledged increased investment in cutting-edge security technologies and deeper collaboration with cybersecurity agencies to protect critical data. Additionally, in light of rising online loan frauds, the company will launch awareness campaigns through case studies and educational materials to enhance employee vigilance and safeguard personal assets, ensuring operational continuity.
To address "last-mile" commuting challenges for employees, the Public Security Bureau will coordinate with bike-sharing companies to deploy docking stations near Galle Electric facilities. This on-site initiative demonstrates the government's attention to employee welfare, aiming to boost workplace satisfaction and corporate cohesion.
The meeting established an effective communication platform between Zhenjiang ETDZ Public Security Bureau and Galle Electric. Both parties will leverage this collaboration to advance progress in IP protection, cybersecurity, and business environment optimization, contributing to the region's high-quality economic development. With robust public security support, Galle Electric remains committed to innovation-driven growth, continuously enhancing its core competencies to achieve new milestones.
